Advertising
I advise lawyers and law firms on compliance with the Advertising Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, including before the Standing Committee on Advertising. Whether reviewing advertisements prior to submission to the Bar (including simply what needs to be submitted), on an ongoing basis, or in response to inquiry from the Bar, I can assist with ensuring that your advertising and marketing materials are in compliance with the Rules.
Fee Disputes and Law Firm Breakups
I have advised lawyers and law firms in numerous dissolutions and disputes, including before The Florida Bar's Legal Fee Arbitration Program.
When firm composition changes, either by addition or subtraction of associates or partners, there are a raft of issues that arise, from communication with clients, transfer of files and information, and fee division. I am proactive in identifying and resolving disputes before they become litigation or grievances.
